If you don’t know what Bratz is, it’s a children’s and preteens’ doll franchise created by MGA Entertainment. Unlike Barbie dolls, which seem to have a symmetrical, woman’s figure, the Bratz are characterized by their large heads, full lips, wide eyes, small noses, and short torsos.
MGA has produced four main Bratz dolls, Sasha, Cloe, Yasmin and Jade. These dolls have become extremely popular all over the world because of their stylish and urban-styled apparel. It’s no wonder that many girls today want to have Bratz parties instead of the usual Barbie or princess theme parties.
It’s very easy to throw a Bratz party for your little girl, especially since there are many stores that sell different Bratz products and party goodies. You can easily get different supplies, including party invitations, party hats and even ready-made games and loot bags, in these stores.
If you want to make your girl’s Bratz party a bit more special, here are several suggestions you can also keep in mind.
* Everything is a bit more special if it’s made with your very own hands. Instead of buying ready-made invites, why not make your own invitations from scratch? Just get some pink stationery, glitter glue and colorful markers. If you have Bratz cut-outs, you can also use them for the invitations. Add an extra special touch by including lip gloss or nail polish inside the invitation.
* You can use the usual streamers, balloons and banners for your Bratz party. For an additional girlish touch, you can also hang up pink feather boas around the place. A disco ball would also look appropriate, so that when the girls start partying it’ll be a lot livelier.
* To make the tables and chairs glitter, scatter sequins all over them. Just make sure that these don’t touch the food.
* For the birthday cake, frost the top layer with her favorite color, and then use actual Bratz dolls for the cake toppers. You can give them to your daughter after the party as her birthday gift.
* Instead of the usual tiring games, arrange for the girls to put on a fashion show instead. Get some dress-up costumes such as hats, feather boas, scarves, and fake jewelry and let the girls create their own Bratz getup.
* Don’t let the girls go home without a Bratz goody bag. Use inexpensive but pretty purses instead of the usual plastic bags. Aside from candies and sweets, include simple hypoallergenic makeup, such as eye shadows, lipsticks and lip gloss inside the purse. Charm bracelets and bead kits would also be nice.
Let your little girl have a Bratz birthday bash for her next party. It’s not that hard to organize. Besides, you can be sure that she and her friends will feel stylish, glamorous and contented after the celebration!
